About the Story

Circle of Inevitability returns to a world shaped by occult pathways, hidden powers, and dangers that move beneath ordinary life. The story follows a new journey through the Nightmare, Lightseeker, Conspirer, Sinner, and Demoness arcs.

Timeline

• Lord of Mysteries: The main story takes place from 1349 to 1352 of the Fifth Epoch. Its protagonist, Klein Moretti (The Fool), ascends to an Outer Deity at the conclusion and enters a deep sleep to resist the corruption of the Celestial Worthy within him.
• Circle of Inevitability: The story begins in 1360, eight years after Klein entered his deep sleep. Its protagonist is Lumian Lee, and the story is set in Intis, a region corresponding to France rather than the Kingdom of Loen.

Story Differences

• Lord of Mysteries: Klein is transported into the world, establishes the Tarot Club, and gradually confronts the threats of the Outer Deities and the Celestial Worthy.
• Circle of Inevitability: Lumian is a brand-new protagonist. The main storyline centers on the Circle of Inevitability, the Mother Goddess of Depravity, and an impending apocalyptic crisis. Klein, as The Fool, is a high-level existence in the background rather than the point-of-view protagonist, although he appears later in the story.
